Your Eiffel Tower Climbing Experience begins within the grounds of the tower after the security checks and in front of the pond. Your expert guide will be waiting to give you an introduction to the structure. From here, your guide will take you to the ticket entrance to arrange your tickets while you get your close-up look at the monument.
Please note that during busy periods, there may be a wait to clear the line for the stairs and security. This comprehensive tour is typically scheduled to last for 2 hours, though in high season, crowds at tickets and security checks can sometimes increase the tour duration. Rest assured that the lines for the stairs will move much quicker than the line for the elevator! If there is a wait, your guide will use this time to share the fascinating details behind the construction of the tower.
See Paris from a New Viewpoint
Climbing the steps to the first level, the City of Light takes on a new dimension. At each vantage point your guide will share the stories behind the wrought iron wonder to which Gustave Eiffel gave his name. On the first level, which is not regularly included on elevator tours, you will have time to take pictures or challenge yourself to step out on the glass floor and look down at the ground 188ft below your feet.
More incredible views wait for you as you climb to the 2nd level observation deck while listening to your guide's insightful commentary. Here, you'll be able to observe more of the city's most iconic landmarks including the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysses, and Notre Dame.
Reach for the Top of the Summit
After seeing the city from the second floor, enjoy some free time and take the trip to the summit* (3rd level) in the comfort of an elevator. These are the highest panoramic views that Paris has to offer. Once you are finished admiring the spectacular views, you can choose to take the stairs or the elevator back to the ground floor to continue your Parisian adventure!

*Occasionally, due to situations beyond our control such as inclement weather or other circumstances, the summit may be temporarily closed upon your arrival to the Eiffel Tower. In these rare cases, the group will not be able to access the summit, even if it reopens while we are inside the tower. Should this occur, you will receive a refund for the difference in the price of accessing the summit.
