At City Wonders, we’ve provided insightful and entertaining tours across Europe’s most stunning cities for more than 20 years. It all began in 2004 with one tour aimed at introducing travelers to a different side of Italy’s capital: the Dark Heart of Rome. Our founder and CEO, Simone Gozzi wanted to show Rome in a new light and was passionate about giving travelers an incredible, memorable experience in the Eternal City. This simple premise sparked the essence of City Wonders: "Yes" to smaller groups, exclusive customer benefits, exceptional guides, and excellent customer service. "No" to over-crowded, generic tours with sub-standard guides and long waits in line.
This simple formula worked so well that we were able to expand across Rome and throughout Italy to Florence, Milan, Naples and Venice. In more recent years, we’ve developed tours in London, Paris and Barcelona, all while keeping our core principles in mind.
